21.1.2009 Cape town massive.....!!!

Since three weeks already down here in Cape town.First week was really bad.Conditions and for me personally as well.Have twisted ligamenst in ankle and knee after a bad washing machine.This happend one day before the Big bay classic competition,so I missed that as well.Bad luck.Luckilly there was nothing broken and the hematom went down quite quickly.
So the second week I started sailing.Conditions untill yesterday were just amazing with strong wind everyday and there was everyday swell as well.Really good!The feet is not 100 percent,but I can sail.Ok,not full power,but at least a bit!
Although the life here is easy at the moment with Rand beeing very week to Euro.Some prices are even cheaper then by us in Czech republic!
Equipmne twise I m very happy with the Ego sails,which I m sailing here for the first time.Unbeliveable handling and good control also when sailing overpowered!Will stick with those sails also for freestyle on Karpathos I guess.Mistral Twinzer boards amazing,loving the 76l one.Its turning fast and really deep inside the pocket of the wave.Planning with according the magazines tests its not so bad.I have here also the single wave 69,but didnt used it untill now.Just cant get enough of the twinzer,even in small waves!Jumping totally no problem.
Looks like will be a bit quiet with the conditions but end of this week should be massive again!!!!
